Boris Klimek
Boris Klimek graduated in studies of Product and Conceptual Design on Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague. During his studies he attended interships in England (Sheffield Hallam University), Slovakia (Academy of Fine Arts and Design) or in product design studios in Prague led by Olgoj Chorchoj designers.
Boris has been awarded a number of awards for his product design. In his work he tries to find a certain conceptual overlaps, games and stories. He tries to make his products not only functional but mostly poetic, playful and able to stimulate the human imagination and emotions.
Studio deFORM
Studio deFORM is an international design studio focused on product design, creative and commercial installations, and architecture. Founders Jakub Pollág and Václav Mlynář established the studio in 2011 during their studies at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague and the Royal College of Art in London.
This award-winning firm has worked with a variety of high-profile and international clients and seeks to balance its work between commercial and independent creative projects with new and innovative approaches. Václav Mlynář also serves as the Creative Director of Bomma.
