Mirko Pancaldi (1973), architect and elena Barbella (1970), set designer.

They have been working together for 15 years, first as an occasional collaboration, then more and more constantly, until the opening of their studio in 2017.

They deal with the creation of every kind of furniture, experimenting with all kind of materials.
Pancaldi and Barbella boast many collaborations with architecture studios such as Natalia Bianchi Studio, Droulers architectures, DMWinteriors, Barbara Frua, Andrea Bonizzi. Moreover, they produce and exhibit furnitures for galleries like L’oro dei Farlocchi and Rossella Colombari.

In recent times in addition to the production of furniture they also start the with the design and the interior design of the Antonini 1919 stores; Rinuccini Relais Napoli; Hotel Borgonovo in Chiaravalle, along with the design of concept stores Dress You Can and Bivio Milano and private houses.

The attention to the detail and to the tactile aspect of the product and to the high craftsmanship are the fundamental characteristics of their projects.

The objects are always unique pieces or pieces in small series, which sometimes make use of synergy and collaboration with other designers and artisans.
