Born in Como, Cardinetti studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, in the Interior Design Department.

Her career begins as set designer for television events such as Venice and Cannes Film Festivals.
She then collaborated with design and furnishing companies working as image consultant and directing projects for exhibitions and fairs.

She is currently working both as ceramic product designer, object designer and interior designer for restaurants, bars, hotels and private houses.
